Digital Marketing Services
We provide retainer marketing services for clients looking to grow their business with digital marketing. Here’s a quick overview:
The Goal is to Increase Leads & Loyalty: The goal of every campaign, for almost every client, is to increase leads and loyalty. That means optimizing your online marketing to bring in more website traffic, improve key conversions to build and nurture trust, and ultimately get more customers. We’ll conduct a thorough analysis of your current online marketing efforts, and create a custom plan based on the top priorities we identify or the “low hanging fruit” that will give you quick wins.
This is a Partnership: Good partnerships are built on trust, respect and transparency. That means we’ll be completely honest about where you stand, and what we think it will take to get to the next level. We’ll have weekly calls and monthly reporting to show you exactly what we’ve done, and where we’re going. We welcome and encourage all feedback and will do everything we can to meet your expectations. But ultimately, you’re hiring us for our expertise. Properly increasing leads and loyalty is a marathon — not a sprint. We will not engage in questionable, short-sighted tactics if it jeopardizes your long-term future.
Services are Integrated for Max ROI: Increasing your Twitter followers and improving your SEO PageRank isn’t going to impact your bottom line. So we take an integrated approach that blends content marketing, SEO, social media, conversion rate optimization and email marketing to deliver more leads and increase customer loyalty. Carefully coordinating each tactic also results in a better return on investment for you, because you’ll get maximum productivity and minimize wasteful activities.
The Foundation: The Marketing Strategy Blueprint
The first month of each new client engagement starts with our proven Marketing Strategy Blueprint. We conduct a comprehensive analysis on these six core areas to create a strategy to execute. Each step builds on the last, and makes sure we’re both on the same page when it comes to your marketing plan.
- Clearly define and differentiate your brand.
- Design and deploy a content-driven website.
- Go beyond prospects, and consider the impact of your inbound marketing efforts on all audiences.
- Establish measurable and meaningful campaign objectives designed to achieve the primary goals of leads and loyalty.
- Build an integrated campaign fueled by the five core inbound marketing strategies: Content Marketing, Search Marketing, Social Media, Conversion Optimization, and Email Marketing.
- Define campaign timelines with milestones, tasks and responsibilities.
This step is mandatory, and non-negotiable for a variety of reasons. For example, we can’t possibly begin to create content without clearly positioning your brand, or start SEO if your website is static and antiquated. So the first phase of working together will be spent in those areas, before proceeding further.
How Are the Services Organized
Services are organized into three distinct plans.
Each plan is then made up of a mix between monthly service hours, that will fluctuate between the top priorities we see, and standard deliverables that will be included each month.
Monthly service hours are divided between website development, copywriting and content creation, SEO, social media, and more depending on campaigns or your specific needs.
For example, the SEO activities for each month depend on the results from our SEO audit. If your website has technical issues or significant crawl errors that may block or hinder search engines from indexing your website, then we will address those first because it’s the top priority. When we feel comfortable with the progress, we’ll move on to the next SEO priority, which is usually keyword research and proper on-page optimization. If those two areas look great from the beginning, then we’ll immediately move on to link building.
In addition, each plan has standard deliverables that includes a certain number of blog posts, conversion or A/B tests on major landing pages, and email marketing campaigns.
Each deliverable has it’s own unique process based on our research and experience. For example, one email marketing campaign is made up of design, content development, copywriting, subject line A/B testing, recipient segmenting and analytics.
Campaign management, Online Client Center, and regular reporting is included in each campaign. The Online Client Center is a transparent platform that gives you 24/7 access to all activities, task lists, campaign milestones, files and messages. In addition, we will have weekly calls to discuss progress and go over upcoming tasks, provide monthly scorecards to provide updates and recommended action plans, and quarterly reviews to reassess our strategy and adapt & evolve to real-time feedback.
Don’t worry. There are no “billable hours” for calls, emails or other client engagement.
What’s the Next Step?
Simply pick a plan below that best suits your goals and budget. Then we will ask you to fill out a quick “New Client Survey” to give us some additional background information about your company. When we receive your “New Client Survey”, we will set-up a time to talk in more detail about how to best approach your needs. During that call we’ll discuss your objectives, our possible involvement, and set-up a course of action to proceed.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are custom editions available?
Yes. While the minimum monthly spend is $1,500 to access all features and benefits, service packages can be completely customized based on your needs, goals and budgets.
Are there additional costs?
While some small-to-midsize businesses may invest their entire marketing budgets in the service packages, many organizations use the inbound marketing service packages to complement other traditional marketing activities, such as sponsorships, trade shows and advertising.
You also should budget for expenses such as software licenses, pay-per-click spend and press release wire distribution fees, as well as contingencies for major projects and initiatives outside of the service package scope (e.g. new product launch, add-on premium content, website redesigns and special events).
Are we locked into a long-term contract?
No. All clients are on 6-month agreements, with payment due at the beginning of each month. If we’re both happy with the results at the end of that time, then we can discuss a new 6-month agreement.
Again, there are a variety of reasons. For example, if you’re starting from scratch in SEO, then it will take at least 6 – 12 months to start seeing significant results. That’s because competition is stiff, and search engines reward sites that have the most “authority” and have typically been around the longest. Again, there are no quick fixes or shortcuts and we refuse to jeopardize your long-term potential (and our reputation) by using questionable tactics.
What results should we expect?
While building the Marketing Strategy Blueprint in month one, we will establish benchmarks and set measurable objectives. The results vary significantly by client, but the service packages are built to produce and improve search engine rankings, website traffic, leads, awareness and retention (i.e. loyalty).
How do we know which edition is right for us?
Start with your available budget based on current revenue and/or funding. From there we’ll work with you to determine the right base package and any relevant add-on services.
How are service hours and word blocks tracked and reported?
We track all services by the minute in our time management system. Service hours and word counts are presented on the monthly activity reports, and reconciled quarterly for strategy review sessions. All activity reports and account dashboards are maintained in your online Client Center.
What if we don’t need the content and blogging services?
If your organization excels at content creation, then we will customize your service package to fully integrate search, social and PR into your existing content marketing strategy and capabilities.
What happens if we exceed our monthly hours, blog posts or word blocks?
We allocate, track and report service hours, and deliverables monthly, and reconcile them quarterly. Slight fluctuations are expected. Significant variations in any item will be budgeted and approved by the client prior to activation.
For example, if a new product is launching, additional service hour blocks and premium content beyond the standard allotment may be needed.
What activities are included in campaign management?
Campaign management is built into every service package and includes: client meetings and communications related to campaign activities, weekly activity summaries, monthly campaign Scorecards and quarterly reviews.
What is the Online Client Center?
Our Online Client Centers are online group hubs designed to foster communication and collaboration between ourselves and our clients. Client Centers let businesses track campaign milestones, monitor agency tasks and progress, share files, view media communications, and submit and read messages.
